Changes to the Board: SCN welcomes new Chair and Board member

Published on:

During the Clinical Neuromuscular Symposium on 9 January, Esther Brusse formally transferred the chairmanship to Janneke Hoeijmakers after a review of the past year.

Over the past three years, Esther Brusse has dedicated herself with great enthusiasm and positive energy to working alongside the board and other stakeholders in the neuromuscular field to advance important initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people with neuromuscular diseases. Until 1 June, she carried out this work together with director Frank Roos, resulting in the long-term strategic plan titled ‘From Trial Readiness to Treatment Readiness’.

On behalf of the other members of the board, we would like to express our deep gratitude for all they have contributed to SCN. In addition, we welcome Anne Bruijnes to the Board as representative of Maastricht UMC+.
