The neuromuscular diseases department at UMCG has a focus on adult neurology and pediatric neurology. There is close collaboration with the departments of rehabilitation, genetics, pediatrics, immunology & rheumatology, internal medicine-endocrinology, the home ventilation center, and cardiology. Additionally, there is strong support from the departments of neuropathology, the laboratory for metabolic diseases, radiodiagnostics, and the PET center.
