  • Role: Research Nurse/Study Coordinator

As a research coordinator within our neuromuscular research team at the Neurology Department of Amsterdam UMC, I focus on coordinating and conducting studies targeting a range of neuromuscular diseases. These include chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), refractory generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG), sporadic inclusion body myositis (sIBM), Charcot-Marie-Tooth type 1A (CMT1A) or hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy type Ia (HMSN Ia), post-polio syndrome (PPS), small fiber neuropathy (SFN), dermatomyositis (DM), and soon, immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy (IMNM).

The goal of this work is to develop effective and safe therapies for patients with these conditions through rigorous scientific research. By conducting these studies, we aim to improve the diagnostics, treatment, and overall care for individuals living with neuromuscular disorders.
