As a rehabilitation physician, I strive to help people with neurological disorders, neuromuscular diseases, or chronic pain optimize their functioning so they can achieve the highest possible quality of life despite the limitations imposed by their condition. This can be done by advising other specialists on treatments and therapies, as well as by guiding, advising, or treating patients directly.

I work closely with members of the rehabilitation team to achieve this goal for each patient. This team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, psychologists, and other specialists as needed. My work as a rehabilitation physician is conducted at MUMC+ under the umbrella of the Adelante care group.
