The focus of my PhD trajectory is the etiology of chronic (idiopathic) axonal polyneuropathy C(I)AP. With our research, we aim to better understand why patients develop C(I)AP and find new (modifiable) risk factors. Furthermore, our research focuses on the detection and prediction of C(I)AP.

Our goal is to be able to predict and prevent the development of C(I)AP and deterioration of prevalent C(I)AP.
