I am a PhD student in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Amsterdam UMC, AMC location. My research focuses on balance and stability during walking in individuals with polio. Specifically, I study their ability to adapt their gait to environmental challenges, such as avoiding obstacles or following a designated path.

The goal of this research is to use these measures to gain better insights into fall risk within this population, ultimately contributing to improved prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
