As a physiotherapist, I specialize in neuromuscular diseases and am a member of the ALS treatment team at UMC Utrecht.

In addition to my role as a treating physiotherapist, I am involved in research focused on technological innovations, such as the development of a user-friendly device for independent at-home muscle strength measurements.

For the ALS Center and the European ALS research network (TRICALS), I serve as a training instructor. These training sessions aim to educate professionals in assessing and managing respiratory muscle weakness and measuring muscle strength.
