My project aims to uncover the aetiology of IgG4-dominated autoimmune diseases (IgG4-AIDs), using MuSK myasthenia gravis as the model disease. I am developing an in silico pipeline and employing large-scale antigen screening to identify potential molecular mimics of MuSK. These molecular mimics may breach immune tolerance and trigger the production of autoantibodies against MuSK, ultimately leading to MuSK myasthenia gravis.
