Dr. Perry van Doormaal
- Role: Neurologist
Perry van Doormaal completed his medical training and neurology residency at the UMC Utrecht. During this residency, he obtained his PhD with a thesis on genetic and exposome-related risk factors in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
He subsequently pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he specialized in big data and multi-omics analyses in chronic idiopathic axonal polyneuropathy (CIAP). In addition to his research activities, he works as a neurologist at Tergooi MC.
