My scientific research focuses on improving diagnostics for hereditary muscular dystrophies. We investigate the value of imaging techniques, such as CT, MRI, and ultrasound of the muscles, in distinguishing between various hereditary muscle diseases. Additionally, we study the genetic mutations that cause these conditions.

The goal is to enable faster and more accurate diagnoses, ensuring that appropriate support and treatment can be initiated as early as possible.
