I work as a rehabilitation physician in the Department of Rehabilitation at Amsterdam UMC, location AMC, and I am affiliated with the Post-Polio Expertise Center. In my role, I provide treatment advice and coordinate multidisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation care. For investigating the causes of symptoms, we collaborate closely with other departments at Amsterdam UMC.

My scientific research focuses on the rehabilitation of slowly progressive neuromuscular disorders, with particular emphasis on addressing fatigue, maintaining physical fitness, and optimizing mobility.
