My research focuses on developing gene therapy strategies for metabolic and neuromuscular disorders, with an emphasis on developing new methods to expand their applicability and improving safety. During my PhD, I helped develop lentiviral-based treatments for Hunter and Pompe diseases, and our laboratory is working to advance these therapies to clinical trials as soon as possible.
