As a neuropsychologist, I have gained experience through my education and work with children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. My passion for neuropsychology and working with the pediatric population has driven my interest in the Duchenne project. This initiative is a collaboration between Maastricht UMC+ and CNL Kempenhaeghe.

My PhD project emerged from a collaboration between the Neurology Department of Maastricht UMC+ and the Center for Neurological Learning Disorders at Kempenhaeghe. As a PhD student, I was responsible for investigating the neurocognitive and behavioral profile as well as evaluating psychological diagnostics and (pharmacological) interventions in boys and young men with Duchenne or Becker muscular dystrophy.
