Dr. Bregje Jaeger
- Role: Pediatric Neurologist

After completing my training as a pediatric neuropsychologist (VU), I specialized in neurology at Amsterdam UMC. During my neurology training, I developed a strong interest in neuromuscular diseases. Following my further specialization as a pediatric neurologist, I took on the care of children visiting the Kinderspiercentrum Amsterdam in collaboration with the pediatric rehabilitation department.
Together with a multidisciplinary team that includes a pediatric cardiologist, clinical geneticist, specialized pediatric physiotherapist, and pediatrician, we evaluate children with suspected neuromuscular disorders and provide ongoing care for those with diagnosed neuromuscular conditions.
As part of my involvement in the care for patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, I participate in the ALADIN (All Against Duchenne in the Netherlands) consortium, contributing to collaborative efforts to improve outcomes for these patients.
