Since 2016, I have been working as a pediatric neurologist at the Emma’s Children Hospital, Amsterdam UMC. In addition to general pediatric neurology, I have a special interest in caring for children with neuromuscular disorders. Together with a multidisciplinary team we evaluate children with suspected neuromuscular conditions and provide comprehensive long-term care for those with an established diagnosis. Our goal is to deliver personalized, family-centered care that supports children and their families throughout every stage of their journey.

My scientific interest focuses on a rare neurometabolic disorder known as riboflavin transporter deficiency. In addition, as a member of the Dutch CMT Expertise Centre, I contribute to collaborative clinical and research initiatives aimed at improving diagnosis, care, and outcomes for individuals with hereditary neuropathies.
