Since February 2019, I have been working as a pediatric rehabilitation physician at the UMC Utrecht Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital, specializing in pediatric rehabilitation with a focus on neuromuscular disorders. At the Spieren voor Spieren Children’s Center, I provide care for children with conditions such as SMA, HMSN, Duchenne, and congenital myopathies. Together with my colleague Irene Oude Lansink, I have established a multidisciplinary treatment team specializing in the care of children with neuromuscular disorders.

In this care, there is close collaboration between pediatric and youth rehabilitation and adult rehabilitation (locations: Spieren voor Spieren Children’s Center at the WKZ and the UMCU).
