Since completing my neurology training in 2000, I have been working as a neurologist with a special focus on neuromuscular diseases and neuro-immunology. In daily practice, I care for patients with a wide range of neuromuscular disorders, including motor neuron diseases such as ALS, as well as conditions affecting muscles, nerves, and the neuromuscular junction. My current area of special interest is myositis, along with other focus areas such as hereditary neuropathies, limb-girdle muscular dystrophies, neurological manifestations of sarcoidosis, and inflammatory neuropathies.

By combining our expertise, we aim to advance scientific research into the causes, prevention, treatment, and cure of these disorders on a national level. Additionally, we strive to expand knowledge and optimize diagnostics and care for individuals living with neuromuscular conditions.
