The primary focus of my research is to gain a deeper understanding of the early disease course of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS).

Currently, I am working on two main studies:

a time to treatment study and

a prognostic modeling study.

The time to treatment study aims to describe current clinical practices regarding the timing of treatment initiation and determine its impact on functional outcomes in GBS.

The prognostic modeling study evaluates the incremental prognostic value of neurofilament light chain (NfL) to established models such as mEGOS and mEGRIS.

With the findings from these studies, we aim to improve treatment strategies and prognostic accuracy in GBS, ultimately leading to enhanced patient care and outcomes.
