Symposium 30 years PGT

This year, Maastricht UMC+ marks 30 years of preimplantation genetic testing, abbreviated as PGT. In the 1990s, pioneers the late Prof. Joep Geraedts (Clinical Genetics) and Prof. Hans Evers (Reproductive Medicine) developed PGT. We are pleased to invite you to a unique symposium on this still-revolutionary diagnostic technique, which can prevent prospective parents from passing on a serious hereditary disease to the next generation. To date, more than 1,800 PGT children have been born.
