M. Bruinsma
- Role: PhD Candidate
I am currently pursuing my PhD at Amsterdam UMC and UMC Utrecht, where my research focuses on improving treatment strategies for patients with anti-MAG neuropathy and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). My work involves two clinical studies. The first is the MAGNAZ study, which investigates whether adding Zanubrutinib to the standard treatment, Rituximab, leads to better outcomes for patients with anti-MAG neuropathy. The second is the ReCIX study, which examines whether Rituximab can induce long-term remission in patients with CIDP.
Through these studies, I aim to help in the development of more effective and durable treatment options for patients with these diseases.
