I started as a PhD candidate and research coordinator in 2025, with a research focus on chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). My PhD work centers on clinimetrics, aiming to evaluate and improve how we measure both physical wellbeing, such as impairment and disability, and mental wellbeing, including anxiety and depression. Part of this work includes the validation of PROMIS questionnaires.

In addition to my PhD, I coordinate INCbase, a global registry currently focused on CIDP and expanding to include multiple inflammatory neuropathies. INCbase provides a shared research platform that allows researchers worldwide to collect standardized clinical data and biomaterials. This creates new opportunities for large internation studies and collaboration.

My goal is not only to gather valuable data on these rare conditions, but also to ensure that the data are valid, reliable, and meaningful. Equally important to me is strengthening and connecting the international network around inflammatory neuropathies to support collaborative research and ultimately improve patient care.
