Dr. Filip Eftimov
- Role: Neurologist
In 2012, I completed my training as a neurologist, after which I remained affiliated with the Neurology Department of the Amsterdam UMC as a fellow in neuromuscular diseases. Since 2016, I have been a staff member working as a neuromyologist, and neuroimmunologist. My expertise particularly focuses on inflammatory neuropathies and other neuroinflammatory disorders such as myositis, myasthenia gravis, and more recently neurological complications after immunotherapy.
My research primarily focuses on chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). I coordinate several multicenter studies and combine both a clinical and translational approach. I am the principal investigator of INCbase, a global registry that systematically collects data and biomaterials for CIDP across 12 countries.
